Celebrations – Masses and Liturgies
On Tuesday morning, Year 2 Red and Reception Blue led our parish mass on the theme of ‘God Our Light’. Their reading and singing were excellent and the older children showed tremendous leadership with the younger students. We had a sprinkling of family members who were able to join us. Father Roderick related Christ’s light that we receive at Baptism to the light that radiates from us when we share our gifts with those around us.
Next Wednesday our senior students will lead the school in acknowledging Remembrance Day.

Family Faith Formation
The 2020/2021 cycle of Family Faith Formation to prepare children for the sacraments of Confirmation and First Holy Communion will commence very soon.
Due to the various restrictions we are under, I ask you to 'register your interest' if you wish to have your child or children participate in this cycle.
Please email familyfaith@catholicparishes.com.au or phone the parish office on 8449 6378 during business hours. Make sure you leave your name and contact number so I can return your call. Children need to be from a catholic family and at least 7 years old to be part of our group.
Please register as soon as possible.

Prayer
With so much time and energy being devoted worldwide to the pandemic over recent months, it is only natural that our thoughts may have moved away from those less fortunate than us, those in places of conflict, or those who are in situations from which they cannot leave.
I wonder if at some point in the coming days that we might be mindful of people living in the United States? Regardless of the electoral outcome, there is a sense that there may be civil unrest due to the result. We can only hope that people remain safe in what may become a tense situation.
“God never tires of forgiving us,
we are the ones who tire of seeking his mercy.”
Pope Francis
God bless and take care,
Patrick.
